It was at the ripe old age of 9 years that I informed my very Victorian Grandmother that I would own a cattery and breed cats. At the time my Grandmother's retort was "You'll grow out of it dear"! Well - over 40 years later I am the very proud owner of Cumbria's Premier FAB Cattery, and I have fulfilled that little girl's dream.
My Maine Coons are all from exceptional GCCF and FIFE and TICA breeders; each and every one of them is noted for their Breeding and Show quality - so its hardly surprising that my "line" has nothing but pure quality!!
But its more than "quality" - admit one Maine Coon into your household and you are hooked for life ! they have quite simply the gentlest of natures, they are loyal and absolute lap-cats with characters that would bring a smile to Scrooge himself. Am I hooked? Absolutely!
All my cats are HCM negative, and I am registered with GCCF,
MCBFA and TICA.
My cats are not penned, (even the stud boys at present!) all are obviously housecats and are quite simply family pets first and foremost - they spend their day "working" as Customer Service Representatives at the cattery - roaming, meeting and greeting the customers, and during the evening return home to our 17th century cottage which is some 50 yards away from the cattery.
